Bonjour! I’m Venkatram Harish Belvadi from India. I’m an avid reader, a writer of thriller fiction and a recipient of the prestigious Nehru Scholarship for Creative Writing. I am also a writer for the magazine Suite101TM.I love star-gazing, swimming, cycling, (of course) blogging, mathematics, astronomy and physics. I’m an aspirant theoretical astrophysicist. I also like learning languages, though I have only begun my little quest: I speak french with manageable fluency.
I am a firm believer in creativity and originality and freedom to think. I speak openly and am straightforward but this is not really always helpful. I have, though, done nothing to change that. I absolutely detest people who have not even a kernel of ideas they can call their own. Of what use are they? I often ask myself. Maybe of some use I am unaware of, I end up convincing myself. I have great respect for people who know more than me (and that is about everybody I know.) Often, I find myself feeling apart from this world, as if I am watching it without. And that is fun. Some might find me fitting into the definition of a geek (in the intellectual sense,) but hey, it’s my opinion that first matters to me. So I see myself as a no-nonsense person with principles in life, who does not like his time wasted.
Lastly, I hope you like The Write Eye© as much as I like maintaining it and publishing in it. You can contact me here if you have queries, doubts, suggestions, or if you wish to give me a piece of your ind (!) or even if you want to share some thoughts with me. I’d love to hear from my readers any day!
